Privacy Policy.

1. Information we process

Store and tab information. With the browser permissions you grant, Couperty checks the address of the active tab and tab changes to identify the store domain and display available offers, coupon counts, and extension alerts. The store domain may be sent to our service to look up relevant deals. This check can happen while you browse, before you click a coupon. When you deliberately activate certain offers, the destination sent for that action may include the complete current page address, including its path and query parameters, rather than just the store domain. Copying a coupon can send the store domain and coupon identifier for a partner action.

Coupon actions and preferences. The extension stores settings, such as whether to show alerts and where to show them, along with limited per-store state such as whether a coupon or offer was activated or dismissed and when it happened. This helps avoid repeatedly showing the same prompt or reopening a partner link too often. When you select a coupon code, Couperty writes that code to your clipboard; it does not need to read the contents of your clipboard.

Connections to Couperty. Our public website is couperty.com. The extension also contacts Couperty services to obtain operating settings and information about participating stores, coupons, and discounts. Those services may use separate technical addresses. When the extension or website makes these requests, our service providers may receive ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, browser or device details, request time, and the requested store domain or destination. We use this information to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

Couperty does not ask you to create an account or enter your name, password, or payment card information in the extension. We do not need to read the contents of your shopping cart, messages, or checkout forms to find store offers. The website itself does not access your browser tabs; those features belong to the installed extension.

2. How we use information

• Find and show coupons, discounts, and participating stores relevant to the website you visit.
• Update the extension badge and show optional alerts when a deal is available.
• Remember your settings and recent coupon or offer actions in the browser.
• Open a relevant partner link when you choose to activate an offer, copy a coupon, or visit a store through Couperty.
• Maintain the service, investigate errors, and prevent misuse.

We use browser information only for these user-facing coupon and store features. We do not sell your browsing history or use information from the extension for personalized advertising.

3. Coupons, discounts, and partner links

Couperty is free to install and use. We may receive a commission when you use an eligible partner link and make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. The commission does not guarantee that a coupon will work or that a particular price is the lowest available.

Coupon codes and advertised discounts are subject to each store’s terms. A code may be expired, withdrawn, limited to certain products or categories, unavailable in your location, restricted to new customers, subject to a minimum order value, or unable to be combined with another offer. A code shown by Couperty may therefore be rejected for your order. Copying a code or opening a partner link does not mean the code has been applied to your cart. Displayed savings are examples or estimates until the store accepts the code and shows the final checkout total. Always review the store’s current terms and total before buying.

We describe this affiliate relationship in the extension listing and show an explanation inside the extension before the relevant action. Before you activate a discount, the interface explains that the action may briefly redirect your tab. Before you select a coupon code, it explains that copying the code may briefly open a partner tab. A partner link is opened as part of your chosen coupon, discount, or store action; simply viewing a page does not activate a partner link.

Participating stores and affiliate partners may receive the destination, a partner or coupon identifier, and standard referral and connection information when a partner link opens. They may use cookies or similar technologies under their own privacy policies to recognize a qualifying purchase. Their checkout, prices, and order data are handled by the store, not by Couperty.

4. Sharing, storage, and security

We share information with service providers that host or operate our coupon and configuration services, solely as needed to provide and secure Couperty. When you choose a partner action, the relevant merchant and affiliate network may receive referral and destination information. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users.

Extension preferences and recent offer or coupon state are stored in browser extension storage and remain there until cleared by the browser or removed with the extension. Service request records may include an IP address, request time, and, for an action you initiate, the submitted destination or coupon identifier. These records are kept as needed for service operation, security, troubleshooting, referral support, or legal obligations and are then deleted or de-identified. Uninstalling the extension removes its browser storage but does not automatically remove records already held by a service provider. We use reasonable technical safeguards, including encrypted connections where supported, to protect information in transit.

Our hosting providers, affiliate partners, and merchants may process information in different countries. Merchants and affiliate partners also handle information under their own privacy notices.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We limit access to people and service providers who need it to operate the disclosed features.

5. Your choices

You can turn off Couperty alerts or adjust their position in the extension settings. You can stop using the extension at any time by disabling or uninstalling it in your browser. Your browser may also let you clear extension data. You can browse stores without choosing a coupon or activating a discount; no partner action is required to view available deals.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. For questions about information associated with a service request or to make a privacy request, email info@couperty.com. We may need enough information to identify the request and locate relevant records, and we will respond in line with applicable law. Information stored only in your browser is generally controlled and removed there, because we cannot identify it on our systems.

6. Children, updates, and contact

Couperty is a shopping tool for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the extension.

We may update this policy if the extension or our practices change. We will post the revised policy here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be disclosed where required. If you have questions about this policy, contact info@couperty.com.
