Terms of Use.

1. What Couperty provides

Couperty shows coupon codes, discounts, and participating stores through its website and browser extension. The extension can identify the store you are visiting, show available codes or offers, copy a selected code to your clipboard, and open a store or partner link after a related action you choose. Some offer activations may briefly redirect your current tab or open a temporary tab. Merely visiting a store does not activate a partner link.

Couperty is a shopping information and referral service. We do not sell the products shown by merchants, process your payment, take or fulfill your order, or promise a particular merchant outcome. The extension is currently free to install and use. Your internet provider, a merchant, or another third party may impose its own charges.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you can lawfully agree to these Terms. If you are under the age at which you can agree on your own where you live, use the Service only with the permission and supervision required by local law. You are responsible for using the Service in compliance with laws that apply to you.

We intend to make the extension available across the countries and regions supported by the marketplaces where we publish it. Marketplace availability does not mean that every feature, merchant, coupon, or partner offer is available or lawful in every location. Availability may depend on local law, marketplace rules, merchant restrictions, and technical support.

3. Coupons, offers, and savings

Coupon codes, discounts, dates, descriptions, and savings amounts may come from merchants or other sources and can change, expire, or be withdrawn without notice. A percentage or amount displayed by Couperty describes a possible benefit for an eligible order; it is not a promise that every item, category, brand, customer, location, or order will qualify.

Restrictions may include minimum spend, excluded or sale items, customer status, geography, currency, limited redemptions, expiration, and rules against combining promotions. Codes may fail even when they are still displayed. We do not guarantee that a listed code is valid, available in your country or region, the best offer, or the lowest price. The merchant alone decides eligibility, whether a code is accepted, and the final price shown at checkout. Check the store’s terms and your final total before you buy.

Any shopping-cart animation, sample price, savings figure, or other demonstration on our website is illustrative unless clearly identified as an actual transaction. It does not establish an expected result for your purchase.

4. What happens when you select a coupon

When you select a coupon, Couperty attempts to copy its code to your clipboard. This action may also open a short-lived partner tab after the disclosure shown in the extension. You must enter or apply the code at the merchant’s checkout if the store requires it. Copying a code, opening a tab, or marking a code as selected does not mean the merchant accepted it or reduced your order total.

If a code does not work, you may decide not to complete the purchase. Contact the merchant about checkout, payment, returns, or an order. You can report an inaccurate code to info@couperty.com, but we cannot require a merchant to honor it.

5. Partner links and commissions

Couperty may earn a commission when you use an eligible partner link and make a qualifying purchase. We do not add a Couperty fee to your order for using the Service. Depending on the action, selecting a coupon, activating an offer, or choosing to visit a store may send you through Couperty and an affiliate provider before you reach the merchant. The extension explains relevant partner-link behavior before the action. An activation or copied-code message confirms only that the related extension action occurred; it does not confirm a discount, a qualifying referral, or a purchase.

Affiliate tracking and qualification are determined by the relevant merchant or affiliate provider. Your browser or privacy settings may affect whether a referral is recognized. How store addresses and partner actions are handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Merchant transactions and other websites

Any purchase is a transaction between you and the merchant, subject to the merchant’s prices, conditions, privacy notice, delivery terms, returns policy, and customer support. Couperty does not control a merchant’s products, stock, pricing, eligibility rules, checkout, fulfillment, refunds, or disputes. A link, logo, or mention of a merchant does not mean that merchant operates or endorses Couperty unless we expressly say so.

Third-party websites and affiliate providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their independent acts or omissions, except to the extent applicable law makes us responsible for our own conduct.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• commit fraud, make false referrals, or manipulate coupon eligibility or affiliate attribution;
• use bots, scraping, or bulk requests that materially interfere with the Service or bypass reasonable access restrictions, except with our written permission;
• gain unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, or disrupt the Service or another user;
• copy, resell, or commercially exploit substantial parts of the Service without permission, except where the law permits it; or
• violate applicable law, third-party rights, or a merchant’s own terms.

Nothing here limits rights that applicable law says cannot be limited, including mandatory consumer or software rights.

8. License and ownership

While you comply with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the extension for lawful personal shopping. This does not transfer ownership of the extension or our content to you. Couperty’s name, visual design, text, code, and other original materials belong to Couperty or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Merchant names, logos, and product materials remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We may correct, update, suspend, or discontinue features or remove inaccurate or unavailable offers for operational, security, legal, or business reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted access or support for every store, browser, region, device, or offer. Where the law requires notice or a remedy for a material change, we will provide it.

You may stop using the Service at any time by disabling or uninstalling the extension. We may restrict access if we reasonably believe a user has materially breached these Terms, acted unlawfully or fraudulently, or created a security risk, subject to applicable law. Clauses that by their nature should continue after use ends, including ownership and liability provisions, will continue to apply to earlier use.

10. No guarantees

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and third-party offer information are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, always available, compatible with every website, or suitable for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee coupon validity, merchant acceptance, any particular saving, or that a displayed offer is the best available. You should independently confirm offer terms and checkout totals before completing a purchase.

These disclaimers do not reduce any guarantee or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limits of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Couperty is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the Service, such as lost profits, lost savings opportunities, or interruption of business. We are not responsible for a merchant’s independent decisions about prices, products, payments, delivery, returns, or coupon eligibility.

Where a monetary limit is lawful, Couperty’s aggregate liability for claims arising from the Service is limited to the greater of US$100 (or its equivalent in your local currency) or the amount you paid directly to Couperty for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by our conduct, or any other liability or mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Claims caused by misuse

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for third-party claims and reasonable, documented costs directly caused by your fraud, unlawful acts, or material breach of these Terms. You are not responsible under this section for claims caused by Couperty’s own conduct or ordinary, good-faith use of the Service.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information the website and extension handle, including store detection, coupon actions, and partner links. These Terms do not replace that notice or any separate consent required by law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as the Service, our business, or applicable law changes. We will post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date and give additional notice where required. Material changes apply prospectively after any required notice. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the Service and uninstall the extension. Continued use after an update takes effect may indicate acceptance where the law permits.

15. Disputes

Please contact info@couperty.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. These Terms apply internationally, subject to the law that governs your use and any mandatory consumer protection rules in your country or region. A dispute may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms requires arbitration, prevents a complaint to a competent public authority, or removes a right to bring a claim in a court available to you under mandatory law.

16. General and contact

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive it. These Terms govern your use of Couperty, but they do not replace the terms of a merchant transaction or any specific offer conditions clearly presented to you.
